mrmiss: Thank you for your comments. I did use the stage tool throughout the entire house, there is a way that if set the stage then delete it once the walls are up you can have a stoop outside and a lower floor inside. Also, thank you for the tip I will go and seperate the pix now! Smile

Meghanmanson - love that bachelor's pad. Very colourful and very cool Smile I'm afraid of loud colours and one day I might break down and try it... if I get brave enough Smile

Lylim - love your outdoorsy theme. I can see camping out there while saving simoleons to build a house Smile Very creative.

Lisfyre, that house looks a lot bigger than 10x10! Very nice. I like the lightness of it!

meghanmanson, ooh, pretty. I like the "tiny room" (can't remember what it's called) where the front door is. I love love love the baby painting. I might have to do a WCIF on that one Bigsmile Well done!

Lylim, that is so frekkin cool! Inlove

My hat goes off to everyone who has completed this challenge ahead of me and made it seem effortless. My god this was hard. Not only am I not a builder (my promo shots are always a constructed room only) but I am also fond of decorating vast spaces.

This was a challenge to myself to build something at all - further, small. I was inspired by these ironic little modern houses that pop up here in Atlanta in areas rich with bungalows . . . while I love them and their style, they often seem ill placed in the landscape. That said, I would have one in a heartbeat . . . here goes (please, feedback is always welcomed!)

Oh - just one more thing - this if nothing else showed me that we need more useful sized small rugs for the game!

One thing these houses all seem to have in common is their love of southwestern landscape . . .

I have never worked with these windows before and I am probably going to use them a good deal more now haha

A bit of humor in the bathroom . . .

Bau - This is gorgeous; I have never seen anything quite like it. I would say it reminds me of Bauhouse but there is far too many extraneous walls and window for that. The mix of southwestern and minimalist modern is something that, again, I've never seen before. I am knocked out by this; excellently done.
