Gorgeous entries! Here's mine.
Oh man I love the feedback being given in this thread! Also I love this challenge. I always wanted to try this style but I think it's so impractical for realistic spaces sometimes. I'm always thinking where do they keep all their stuff! Plus I'm a serious clutter junkie in game and in real life. I like things
Atlas I think you've been given some great advice, lower the camera and and try to be a little more dynamic with the lighting.
soliva I like the simplicity in both of your pictures, very fitting for the challenge. In the first one, you chose a great tub as it's a beautiful statement piece all on its own. I think the second one could have been taken from a better angle, but it's nice overall.
florence, great space. Love the concrete and wood mix
Alex... wow! Just WOW! I adore the textures on the wall, and floor. I'm also jealous of how great the chair shadow is in TS2.
MsWry I like the black white red color combo in your kitchen. I think the angle of your photo could have been lower, the ceiling showing is kind of distracting from the overall minimalism of your space, and maybe a less bulky appliance could have been used? Your office space is adorable.
simmerpixels, lovely first entry. I just discovered my love for the bed you used in this challenge
steefjee90 I like the clean lines in your kitchen. Is that a staircase?
Here's another entry from me.

I'm not really a fan of minimalism... but I am going to try and answer this challenge. Haha
Here's my entry

BlueHopper Yes it is Just like you, I loveeee clutter and it's hard to not use pretty pillows and lots of little plants and cups/mugs. But the staircase was the solution haha
Amazing entries! meganfranc I love the staircase you used, amazing

ooh meganfranc I like the hanging pictures leading down to the leaning one, what a cute detail! Minimalism is really hard for me too, my advice for something like that would be to take away the pillow, table, and ottoman and just have the chair in one bold color.
simmerpixels the lighting in this shot is really well done (hard because of all that white!) and I like the jagged brush strokes on the paper the most, a good counterpoint to how smooth everything else is.
ThatAtlasChick This is so great! You did such a good job keeping a theme consistent with your furniture choices, everything is so elegant and traditional but placed sparsely and carefully so to still give an impression of openness. I would advise you to use still more light in your photos, perhaps downloading buhudain's invisible lights ( here http://mahamudosim3.blogspot.com/2012/08...s-set.html ). Also if you change the light color (click on the lights in live mode) to flame it won't have the same glow effect. There are also mods that disable the glow effect.
bluehopper I love this, the proportions of everything are so right. wcif that wall texture? And the vignette-style lighting really lends a sense of atmosphere to your screenshots.

OK, I tried this with TS4 but I'm not sure I have truly grasped the concept (I am a clutter person).
